The Importance of Stretches.
People in the gym are more worried about the weight of the dumbbell that they are about to lift
rather than preparing themselves to this effort properly.
I'm talking about stretches more and more people run into the gym without even doing one stretch
for a body part.
I understand that people want to see results and fast and they do not want to spend their time on
something that doesn't provide results, but the truth is that when you stretch your muscle you are
actually preparing yourself to the effort you are about to give.
Stretches prepare and relax our body, if the stretch is done properly , the stretch do various
important things among them:
Reduces the stress/pain in the muscle
-
Increase heart activity and breath proceeds
-
Increase the the effect of back exercises etc.
-
Increase the flexibility of the joint and the muscle's range movement.
The right way to do stretches is to be calm and relaxed, all movements should be calm and not rash.
You should focus on the specific part of your body that is stretched.
Try to avoid from fast movements and stretches that cause you insufferable pain.
One more thing, the stretch helps you to stimulate your blood stream to your muscles which means that
you have more energy to give and your workout is more efficient and your percentage to get injured are
reduced greatly !
Furthermore the flexibility of the joint is very important because it enables you to do more movements
without feeling pain and obviously it helps you keep yourself flexible !
People over the years lose their flexibility cause over the years the human bones are getting stronger
and stronger and this comes over the place of flexibility.
I think that is pretty shame to be at the age of 45 without being able to move your body like you could
when you were at the age of 30.
**There are a different stretches for each body part and I'll detail them soon.**
Whishing you an efficient workout and healthy life !
