Dealing with Injury

Injury is one of the most common things that happens to people who over practice or practice the wrong way.
 I tell you as one who have experienced a real injury , meaning that I could move myself from bed for a week, that the most important thing in order to save yourself from injury is to keep yourself warm !
 And when I am saying that I mean it literally you have to keep your body in a warm temperature (Caution ! not not ! to high temperature will damage your body by destroying proteins) One of ways to keep your body warm is to dress properly for example :
 If you're going to gym and want to show off in front of everybody please don't ! there is a strong air conditioner in the gym !
your muscles will be shocked from the cold that surround the gym so come to gym with long clothes (I didn't say an Eskimo !) and remember to have a warm up before any dumbbells lifting or squats etc.
Second you have to eat well , a body with missing basic elements is bound to fail in high anaerobic effort or a high aerobic effort.
Now you have to understand the anatomy of the human body.
You have to understand when you are flexing a muscle it gets shorter and you have to do stretches in order to keep it long.


 Another thing that is very important in stretches is the fact that it stimulates your blood stream and when this happens your muscles getting more blood meaning more oxgen and your body improves the removal of poison which is cruical to your function !
After you have understand the importance of streches now you have to understand something else. You have to understand your own limits.
A man or a woman who do not know how far they can get meant hurt themselves during a workout.
They might try to get some extra practice from their workout or they just want to show off (mainly men), Doing so is one way ticket to the bed for the whole weekend.
Always know yourself and know what exercises are more difficult to you or just don't fit to your goals.
Please don't flow the saying "No pain No gain" it sounds good but it's not always true don't hurt yourself just to feel that you did something in the gym.
One last thing is rest and rest is crucial in this specific issue because during the rest our body recover himself from the workout that we just did.
 I'm not talking just about the rest after the gym I'm talking also about the rest between sets. The time needed for rest is variable one activity to another , meaning the if your are working on pumping your biceps you have to rest at least 1.5 mintues between sets (if are truely working on 75% from your RM1) and 1 mintues between each set if your practicing for strenght and endurance and only half a mintue (30sec) if your are working in order to get purely endurance and cardiovascular shape.
 Keep in mind! "Your body knows best" if you suffer deeply from any excercise stop it immediately.
